May 26 – Memorial Day: Remembering

Rev. Julie Taylor

It is Memorial Day weekend, a time set aside to remember. Historically, Memorial Day (originally Decoration Day) was created to honor and remember those who have died in service to our country. This morning we will remember sacrifices for our nation from a UU perspective.

Rev. Julie Taylor is a Unitarian Universalist minister currently serving as the Senior Director of Contextual Ministry at Meadville Lombard Theological School. In addition Rev. Taylor serves as a Chaplain (Capt) in the Air National Guard and is an Affiliated Community Minister with the Church of the Larger Fellowship.
