Lux Cantorum, Chicago’s premier sacred choral music ensemble, will present a seasonal choral concert titled Light of the World at First Unitarian on Friday, December 7. “Lux Cantorum” roughly translates to “Light Singers,” and they herald the season with songs of light from across the globe. The program will feature both holiday favorites and works less familiar, including selections from Bach, Forrest, Nordquist, Peevla, and Rutter.
