Congregation Visioning Retreat
01/27/2018 Saturday 8:00 am-3:00 pm
YOU are invited as members and friends of the congregation to share your vision for the future of First U. In this professionally-facilitated retreat, we will dream big, and share our hopes and vision for the future, particularly around our church membership and building.
Last spring, First Unitarian conducted a study to gauge the feasibility of a capital campaign to raise funds to make improvements to our church home and facilities. The overwhelming results of that study revealed a shared sense of priority and urgency to address our capital needs along with a desire to address a few other core areas of church operations.
In response to this feedback, we are hosting a congregation visioning retreat. You are invited to share your vision for the future of First U specifically around church membership and the building. During this professionally-facilitated retreat, Steve Pratapas of Pratapas Associates LLC and congregation leaders will help lead us in visioning exercises and small group breakout sessions to dream big, share our concerns and hopes for the future, and provide valuable input on the priorities for the capital campaign.
Please let us know if you’re coming by Wednesday, January 24, 2018. RSVP here!
