Previously our CHRISTIAN UU GROUP met once a month on a Sunday after Social Hour or during the month by Zoom. We have discussed video courses such as The History of Christianity During the Reformation Period. Our meetings have been open to all church members and friends – holding any religious beliefs – with an interest in learning more about the Christian faith.

Activities have included homilies, Bible study, and the observation of sacred days on the Christian calendar. We would like to discuss how Christianity is part of our UU Heritage in both Unitarianism and Universalism. Other topics might include how Christian Saints evolved from pagan gods and goddesses; readings from contemporary Christian writers such as Annie Dillard, Annie Lamott, Wendell Berry, and John O’Donohue, study of the lives of early Christian Mystics, and consideration of what Christ really did or did not teach on various topics at issue today.

All are welcome at all Christian Group activities, whatever your own spiritual path or beliefs. Please contact Phiefer Browne.
