Meet Director of Lifespan Religious Education, Elizabeth McCreless

First Unitarian welcomes Elizabeth McCreless to our staff as the new Director of Lifespan Religious Education. This expanded position will support both our youth and adult religious learning programs.  She brings 10 years of experience in education and nonprofit administration, including with churches and interfaith initiatives. She recently left her role at the Partnership to Educate and Advance Kids, a Chicago youth mentoring and scholarship organization, where she worked in both program administration and fundraising roles.

She has a new passion – exploring how spirituality can help us integrate mind and body, supporting our overall wellness and allowing us to bring our best selves to bear on the world. As a lifelong UU, Elizabeth is very excited to join our team and looks forward with hope and enthusiasm toward the work we may learn and do together toward these ends!

A longtime Hyde Parker and U of C graduate, Elizabeth lives just south of Bridgeport with her partner, Keenan, and dog, Winter.
