The purpose of the Social Justice Council is to provide a focal point for social justice service – to our congregation and to the community. All are welcome to participate at any level – attend events, offer suggestions on projects, have input in meetings, lead an action – whatever your comfort level. Your help is needed to make our church, our community, our state, our nation and our world a better place.

The Council sponsors community forums, including the third Sunday First Forums, movies, outings and actions. If you want to focus on a specific area, you can join an existing action subgroup, or form a subgroup. The Council meets on the second Thursday evening of each month. Information is available each Sunday at the Social Justice table during coffee hour, or by contacting Anita Orlikoff, Social Justice Council Chair.
