The purpose of the Social Justice Council is to provide a focal point for social justice service – to our congregation and to the community. All are welcome to participate at any level – attend events, offer suggestions on projects, have input in meetings, lead an action – whatever your comfort level. Your help is needed to make our church, our community, our state, our nation and our world a better place.

The Council sponsors community forums, including the third Sunday First Forums, movies, outings and actions. If you want to focus on a specific area, you can join an existing action subgroup, or form a subgroup. The Council meets on the second Thursday evening of each month. Information is available each Sunday at the Social Justice table during coffee hour.
