We’re highlighting members of the First Unitarian Board of Trustees so you can get to know them better! Your Board of Trustees includes Margie Gonwa, Amos Biggers, Tim Arehart, Richard Pardo, Cheryl Wegner, Ezrina Bradley, Evelyn Johnson, and Mary Clare Bietila (alternate Trustee).
Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Ezrina Bradley has a Bachelors in General and Integrative Studies with concentrations in psychology and social work from Loyola University Chicago. She is currently finishing her graduate studies virtually in the professional school counseling program at Bradley University in Peoria, IL, with hopes of becoming a licensed clinical professional counselor and going on to earn her doctorate degree. She has worked almost 20 years in the social services field, most recently with youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In her free time, Ezrina likes to read, dance, travel, craft, garden, event plan, cook, thrift shop, and partake in volunteer opportunities independently and with her sorority sisters of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. She currently lives in the Washington Heights neighborhood of the far south side of Chicago with her husband, three children, and multiple pets.
Ezrina officially became a member of First Unitarian Society of Chicago in fall, 2016 but was involved in worship programming long before becoming a member. At First Unitarian Society of Chicago, Ezrina has served as a Worship Associate and an Usher, as a member of the children’s Religious Education Council, and as a children’s religious education teacher, and she has participated in various worship programs and church functions. For the 2021-2022 church year, Ezrina is serving her second year as a member of the Board of Trustees.
